1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar; firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1-½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups Kroger Oats (uncooked)
1 cup nuts, chopped
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip
1. Preheat oven to 375º.
2. Cream butter or margarine and sugars until smooth; beat in eggs and vanilla.
3. Combine and blend thoroughly flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt; beat into creamed mixture. Stir in oats and nuts.
4. Drop by rounded teaspoon teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
* Mother added cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips and adding to step #3.
