Grew up in Martinsville. Went to Danville Community College, received a Diploma in Electronic Entertainment Equipment Servicing. Passed Certified Electronics Technician Certification in 1973. In 1975 Joined International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians and became Certification a Administrator. In 1973 joined Virginia Electronics Association. I was active in VEA as Historian, VP, Recording-Secretary, and Finally as Treasurer for 17 years. During that time. the Association Changed to VA Professional Electronics (VPEA), has since changed to a Regional Association as Eastern Professional Electronics Association. During this time I also joined and became Life members of ISCET. National Electronics Service Dealers Association. And Electronics Technicians Association-International. We had two trees knocked down in the yard April 5th due to a Tornado that just went by the house. Was supposed to have gone to the Dr.’s Office for checkup but was blocked in.
