Hi, I was trying to discover information about the Fulcher family of VA. The name connects with my Gunter family thru my 4th great grand uncle, Dr. Enos Fulcher Gunter who lived in Louisa County, VA. His father, Enos Gunter married Francis Carpenter. One son, Dr Enos Fulcher Gunter was a student of medicine in 1848 at the University of Maryland Medical School. He married Jane Timberlake in 1852 in Louisa. Their son, William Fulcher Gunter was born in Louisa but lived with his wife, Precilla Elder in Campbell County. I see there is a Fulcher/Harris connection in Patrick County. Besides the Ed Harris connection, is there any other connection you know of that connects the Fulcher surname with that of Gunter? I am doing all kinds of genealogy work and wish to establish information that heretofore has been difficult to come by. I was not aware of anyone in my immediate Gunter families in VA who married a Fulcher. I dont know if there is a relationship between John Edd Harris and my Capt William Harris/Mary Hudson. Please contact me on my email address. I would very much like to correspond with you.
Peggy Ellis Hill who descends from John Gunter, Sr/ Susannah Harris, (daughter of Capt William Harris/Mary Hudson), grandparents of Dr. Enos Fulcher Gunter. Dr. Enos Fulcher Gunter is an uncle to my Thomas N. Gunter/Mary ‘ Polly’ Ware of Louisa, VA

Hi Mr. Jones, My grandfather was George Irving Harris, and I have been doing some research on my Dad’s family. I can give you names of my Grandfather’s children, death dates, as they have all passed away, and their children if you are interested. I have a photo of my Grandfather, also. I can’t find any information on his wife’s family, Mattie Sue Mills and the Mills of Patrick County, namely, Robert and Lutica Mills. If you have any information on them, I waould really appreciate it.
