Went Dr the other day for DMV Exam. Discovered I had lost 60 pounds since finding out I am diabetic. And I lost 3 pants sizes (60 to 54). Eating a lot of Lean Cuisine Dinners. Blood sugar is under control, only have to do finger stick once a day now.
I bought a new Camera a Nikon D3200. I already had a D3000 but the the 3200 has twice the resolution plus I can take videos. what pictures I’ve taken with it look great.
We had Storm June 28, The weather people call it a Super Delico. Anyway, we had 80-90 mile an hour winds blow through. took all of 5 minutes. two lightning strike accompanied the storm then Power went out.
We were without power from 10 PM the 28th through 6 PM the 29th. Lost all the food in two refrigerators, except Fresh vegetables. remained cool enough for them to survive.
Just had gone to to Grocery Store and bought much of it. Its twice as much expensive to buy for diabetes.
House we live in is about 75 years old and was never built with insulation and we use two window air conditioners. And I use a CPAP machine. I got three hours of fitful sleep (been better not to try). it was 108 outside and 100 inside.
I now have type-2 diabetes. Found out May 15, 2012. Now take pills and stick fingers 3 times a day. On a diet. Since getting on diet and taking pills Feel awful and don’t have energy enough to fight my way out of a Paper bag Although AMA and Doctor wants me to stay at 100 on reading if I get below 120 I am so weak and have trouble with my eyes. When I have trouble with my eyes do just like when you go to eye doctor and he puts drops in eyes to dialate them for Glaucoma Text, makes everything super bright. So bright indoors I have to squint or put on sunglasses.
This is being posted out of order. Happened in May 2011.
we had three more trees damaged due to Straight line winds in excess of 70 mph.
Now in Summer time. we are paying for the downed trees in excessive heat. Heat in the house has been averaging with trees gone around 100º. Previously with the trees in high 80′s.
Looking forward what temps will be in the winter.

About Jodie and Angie Conway. They are living in Tuscon Az doing well. Angie has married a Clark fellow and has two daughters. Jodie hasn’t married so far. But is dating a Doctor.
I sent Letters to each with pictures. Haven’t heard anything from either. Guess they are not interested.
We had two trees knocked down in the yard April 5th due to a Tornado that just went by the house. Was supposed to have gone to the Dr.’s Office for checkup but was blocked in.
Got new computer Today. a MacBook Pro 17″ 2.8 Ghz. has 8 GB memory and 500 GB SATA 7200rpm Hard Drive.
Now fun part comes in Moving Files.
Well, went to Doc. Mother decided to see the Doctor too. She ended up have a Bladder infection. I had my Physical. DMV accepted it. He then saw problem with my legs and put on special medicated wrap called a Boot. Basically it’s a three layer wrap. It has an inner medicated gauze, then a Cotton Batting. Then and outer stick rubberized wrap That is supposed to stick to itself. after a few days I had to tape it to keep it from unraveling.
Got new Glasses, cost 265.00.
Tuesday, past we noticed that the heat quit upstairs, called oil man. When we got here turns out, someone put the copper oil line at tank and house. Helped themselves to some oil. Took $775.00 worth of oil. Next day the propane gas Man came and filled up Propane tank. That was over $260.00.
Then we had the washing machine to quit. Although we debated getting a new washer, we ended up fixing that was another $85.00. Fun times , huh.
Well the Black-eyed Peas and Hog Jowls did not work.
Received my By-Annual DMV Med Report This time I have to have a Physical (at least $200.00). I have sores (Status Ulcers) on both legs. I know he is going to fuss about.
Monday I went for eye exam and that cost me $120.00. I’m doctoring on my legs but not doing much good.
Christmas was rather uneventful, though we did get some snow. Mother still hasn’t got over her Pulled muscles yet though she is improving daily. Complains more with her legs know than with her back.
Bought Black-eyed peas and Hog Jowls, for New Years Day lunch. We need all the luck we can get! We’ve had enough bad luck this year.
